I have FCP 7 and both motion 4 & 5. When I try to "send to motion" from FCP 7 it opens motion 5 and I'd much rather have it go to motion 4. Any suggestions would be greatly apreciated.

The legacy apps should all be in a folder to hide the new apps from the old apps.
If you have FCS on your system and then download one of the new apps, a Final Cut Studio folder will automatically be created and the apps moved to it.
Hereare the steps (the second, single partition method), I've never understood the open Motion 4 first step, but I've had to do several installs and I do it – just to be obedient I guess.
