can't backup from iphone4 to iphone5

So i got an iphone5 and when i set it up it told me set it up as a new one and update its software to 6.1.3 . I did do. But now i somehow Can't backup from my previous backups from iphone4.I also used a different apple ID when i clicked 'restore backup from icloud". Earlier i had backed up everything in both my Mac and icloud.

Have I lost my backup ? Will I get it back? Can I set up my phone again?
Please help 🙂
