    The stock model as I see it comes with a 2.3GHz CPU and 512MB of VRAM. The 2.6GHz option you mention IS worth the extra cash, both for the extra 300 MHz of CPU speed as well as the doubling of the VRAM, leading to improved processing and graphics performance. The 2.7GHz option is a robbery.


    As for the screen, trust us, you WANT the antiglare option. It makes the computer usable anywhere, including in bright sunlight. Your eyes will thank you for it.


    RAM and HDD, take the stock 4GB & 500GB/5400RPM options. Upgrade later by yourself to 16GB and SSD for a fraction of what Apple wants to take from you. And you will have a screamer.
