Replacement Earphones with Remote and Mic

I purchased some Apple Earphones with Remote and Mic in August. They are now broken. I live an hour away from the nearest Apple store. I tried the support online, but all the links require the serial number. I cannot find this anywhere on the packaging, the little booklets it came with, or in the confirmation emails they sent me when I bought them. Help?
