Q: Why does my pages go small when I move my mac wireless mouse from side to side?

Hi,

I have checked all the preferences for my mouse. Why is it when I move the mouse from side to side now (across) it constantly makes my page shrink and I have to click some where to get it back to original size?

Is there a setting not selected to keep this from happening?

On the more gestures page I have nothing selected. On the point and click they all are selected, is this right?

I would also like to know, how long the battery life is for this mouse and why am I having to replace the batteries so often? Besides it doing its own thing at times.

Thanks so much in advance for any help.

Mine did the opposite to yours and zoomed to a bigger size. The only thing I could do was double tap the mouse and it reverted to the correct sizing. The mouse is far from magic and has a mind of its' own. Battery life is unbelievable, and you would be better employed using re-chargeable batteries. I understand the Energiser make of battery is good because it seems the size of the battery is critical!! Modern technology!!

Because of the problem, I set the mouse to have the double tap to zoom or return, so every time it zoomed, I double tapped the mouse and it reverted back to normal. Take a look at the mouse settings windows and I think you will find the details there. I haven't got my iMAC with me at the moment, it is away at the Apple Hospital being repaired due to a badly built machine when I bought it, so I cannot go through the system to tell you exactly how I did it. But look at the mouse settings system and see what is there. It's a nuisance, I know, but needs must when theDevil is driving!!

    Cheers
