Is there any way to have the movies transfer over to the ipad and stay there?

I am a teacher and was given a school ipad. I would like to use my itunes account and move over some music and movies to the ipad but it won't let me connect the ipad to my computer. I know I can access it from share but thats only in my house right? Any way to access the movies while I'm at school?
