flashing amber light on charger and Macbook pro wont start?

The flashing amber light means there is a failure in the circuit...take teh MBP and charger to an Apple store genius bar and have the techs test the components and see where the problem is. Could be the charger, could be the charging circuit or battery, but it needs to be tested.
