iPod screen gap

As recently ive had given my ipod for repair, in a while i had found my screen misplaced, in a way that theres a gap between the screen and the back itself, ive tried placing it back, but it keeps coming forward. The thing is that ive heard that it is self fixable, as im scared to damage it, please help guys.
