Sony Handycam HDR-PJ580V -- Any suggestions for compatibility and quick view?

Considering this camera as backup.

Just want to quick view footage and import it to MediaFire or Box or DropBox to view and share there.

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.6.8)
