keynote fonts stuck in default - can't add new fonts

Hello,

I had to reinstall my operating system on my macbook pro.

The fonts in my keynote presentation are screwed up - not the right ones.

When I try and change the font style in keynote it stays in Lucida Grande (NOT the

font I want to use).

please help!

MacBook Pro, iOS 6.1.3

Are you able to change the text at all in Keynote to any other font?

Did you install additional fonts not supplied by the OS?

What is the font you are trying to use that is missing?

Open the Font Book application in the applications folder, look in the list for the fonts you want to use, are they listed?

If they are missing you will need to get hold of the font files and install them using Font Book.

Fonts must not be imported, they must be installed.

1 - Use Font Book to install the font correctly (file > add fonts)

2 - Use font book to validate the Font file > validate font

You will need to delete the font if it was not installed or if it cant be validated, then install properly.

If it will not install, the file is corrupt or is not a font that Mac OS X can use.
