Dual Boot Predicament

Hello all.

I have found myself in a pickle. I have a 2011 MacBook Air, 64GB Flash Storage, 2GB Ram, running OS X 10.8.3 Mountain Lion. I would really like to be able to have windows on my mac for certain things (Trust me,OS X is 1000000% better than windows) , but due to the 64GB of storage, it's next to impossible to install windows via boot camp. I used parallels on OS X 10.7 lion, but as I have Parallels 6, Mountain Lion didn't support it. Because of the 2GB of RAM, it was slow going when I was running the Parallels machine (windows 7 pro). I would really like to have boot camp, or an alternative that works very similar, but only if there's a way to save some $$$ by not having to get a larger SSD in place of the 64GB one. I have a micro flash drive that I can put windows on, but windows isn't really made to run from an external drive. Any suggestions???

Thanks!!

MacBook Air, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.2)
