99.9% of the time, the cause of this issue is the fact the phone was jailbroken/hacked to unlock it for use on networks other than the network the phone was originally locked to. Apple maintains a database of officially unlocked iPhones, and when Apple's servers detect phones such as yours, activation stops & you get the message you got.

So, either get a sim card from the carrier your phone was originally locked to, or get it officially unlocked, if you want to activate it. Because it appears that it was not officially unlocked.

HI! Mine while updating on itunes because it takes time and i cant wait i removed the phone while updating. afterwards the same message above appear.

i dunno how it is been unlock... the phone itself was just given to me, since the apps needs to be updated ...

so im updating it thru itunes....  then that probs appear

My guess is the phone was hacked to unlock it from a carrier and when you tried to update the iOS it relocked to the original carrier

ok ... maybe. what's the best remedy on it so that i could use it again?

I suggest you use google to find a solution to fix a jailbroken phone
