what causes this error code - 0xe8000084

Question

when synching my phone, I get the above error message when itunes tries to synch several apps. What causes this and what can I do to correct it?

iPhone 4S, iOS 6.0.1

I deleted each app and reloaded it to get rid of the error messages. Still not sure what causes this but its easy to repair.
