MainStage 2 Patch Change Accidently Starting MIDI Sequencer (Arturia Spark)

For some reason, when I change patch inside of a set to a patch that has a Channel strip with Arturia Spark AU load up, Spark will automatically start playing. It seems like the patch change is triggering some sort of MIDI message that tells it to start, but I can't find any settings for the Patch, Channel, or the Spark that would prevent this.

I have tried disabling the "Program Change" attribute for the patch.

I can't seem to figure this out - does anyone know what I might be able to do, or have had a similar issue with another MIDI device?

Thanks so much,

- Keith

Hi

The interaction can be caused by Preferences:General:Parameter Values on Patch Change. There are 2 choices:

Revert to Saved or Keep Current Value

If you have a Screen Control mapped to the Play function of some plugs, "Revert to Saved" can cause a Plug to start playing on Patch Change if you saved the Concert whilst the Patch was Playing (and vice versa)
