Q: Wireless Keyboard constantly looses connection

My Apple Wireless Keyboard (Part Number: MC184LL/B) constantly looses connection (as often as once/minute; but sometimes it will stay connected for up to 20-30 minutes before cutting out).

Details

>It is 2' from my Macbook Pro.

>There's a Drobo next to the computer, but the cut-out happens whether Drobo is on or off.

>Battery indicator says keyboard is 100%.

>Thunderbolt Display in vicinity.

>Happens at multiple locations within my house.

>Error message is "connection lost"
