Is there a package similar to Analysis ToolPak that is on Excel for Windows? I have found this is not available in the Mac version of Excel

My business requires a great amount of statistical number crunching. I was unpleasantly surprised to find that Excel for the Mac does not have the Analysis Tool Pack I have used for many years with the Windows versions. Does Numbers offer such a package either as an internal package or even as an add on module through the App Store. I have tried the StatPlus for Mac that was mentioned on Microsoft's support page, but it does not seem to even want to open on my Mac Book Pro. I am using OS Mountain Lion and have Office 2011. Thank you

This forum is dedicated to Numbers which is a part of the Apple productivity suite, iWork. Since Excel is a part of Microsoft Office the Microsoft site is the best place to address this question.

Numbers does have many statistical functions but does not have an "add-on" tool set. You can write your own using Applescript. You can get free, downloadable, documents for Numbers from here:

There is a Numbers Users' Guide and a function reference.
