I forgot my lock code password for my IPhone 4 and I don't know what to do...

I have got the same problem here. forgot my iPhone 4 passcode and i have connected it to itunes and tried pressing "sleep button & home button" to force restart. But no restore screen comes up. Only "slide to power off" comes up! 😢 what to do. Please help.

It sounds like your iPhone has a broken home butto, which requires service at an Apple Store or Authorized Apple Service Center.

The iPhone 4 was released seven years ago. Perhaps it’s time to consider replacing it.

Restore the phone on the last computer you synced to and it will remove the passcode.

If you never synced it, that's OK. You'll simply lose your content. But you will be able to use the iPhone again.

No. It's what makes the phone's content secure from anyone who finds or steals the phone. If there was another way around it that would defeat the purpose of a lock code. The only way out is if you had previously synced the phone to iTunes on your PC, but, as you did not, if you can't remember the code you will have to restore it as new and lose all of your content.

What do you mean "nothing comes up?" Does the phone work? If it does than that is normal. Restoring from Recovery mode sets up the phone as a new phone. If you mean something else please explain.
