How long do I have to watch a purchased Tv show

How Long do I have to watch a TV Episode, for instance, we'd like to buy a $2.99 TV program and watch it tonight yet would also like to have daughter watch in 2 days?

Can I save the episode on hard drive anyway?

There's no time limit for purchases. Only rentals are time-limited.
