Tascam US-122 with Mountain Lion 10.8.3

Hi all,

This is not really a GB issue, but i figured the readers here would understand my plight...

My US-122 has served me well over the years, but after a recent update to 10.8.3, it has stopped working.

It is no longer powering up & of course not recognised by GB.

My google research suggests 10.8.3 will only operate in 64 bit and because the US-122 is 32 bit it is now inoperable.

Is this correct ? Could this be the cause ? Is there anything i can do ?

I noticed Snow Leopard users booting in 32 bit. Is this possible in Mountain Lion ? Is it ok to do ?
