I need to update my iphone 4 from 4.3.2 to ios 6.x.x. Will i lose my text messages if i do?

Hi everyone...

I need to update my iPhone 4 from version 4.3.2 to the latest available version 6.x.x.

However I am worried that I will lose all my text messages if I do this upgrade... Will I?

I already backed up the using itunes (but don't know where it's stored). Hopefully i did this correctly.

Anyway, the next step is to UPGRADE (since i backed up) but i don't want to lose my text...

Please can someone help me with this??

You will not. A backup is also part of the update process in iTunes.

thanks for replying however, i am reading that alot of people are losing their texts even though they backed up... somethng about a bug in the version...

im worried...

I've read nothing of the sort, but you should know that no update is going to be bug free for everyone, but the chance of that issue happening to you in particular is miniscule. iOS 4.3.2 is 2 years old.
