Kontakt 5 not recognised by Logic Pro 9

Hi Guys,

I'm running Logic Pro on my 2013 Macbook Pro (non retina) 15". I have Mountain Lion OS 10.8.2 running and I have 750 GB of storage and 8 GB of memory.

I am having trouble using the plug-in by Native Instruments called Kontakt 5. It won't appear in the inserts from the menu audio units>native instruments. However, when you go to the audion unit preferences there it says it has successfully validated as an instrument. Here is what I've tried so far:

Running Logic in 64 bit instead of 32 bit and resetting the preferences.

Running logic in 32 bit and making the Kontakt 5 open in 32 bit (Get info>run in 32 bit checked).

I've tried moving the audio plug-in file for Kontakt 5 and putting it back.

I've tried deleting the com.apple.audiounit file and rescanning and resetting the preferences.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Steve.

Kontakt is a Software Instrument plugin, so it will not show up in the Inserts menu.

You need to click-hold on the I/O slot of an Instrument Channel
