I have backed up my music onto dvds. How do I import into Itunes on my new laptop?

Please Help!! I have backed up my music from my old laptop onto DVD's and need to know how to import music from these DVD's onto Itunes on my new laptop. It recognises the DVD and music, but won't import. help!!!
