Ipad to TV using component cables

I am trying to get Ipad video playback using the 30pin to component cable and the lightning to 30 pin adapter.I get sound but no video. I can take the lightning adapter off and plug my Iphone in and get everything just fine,just not the adapter and the Ipad.anyone have an answer?

As specified here, the Lightning to 30 Pin adapter does not support Video output.

By component you mean the Red Blue and Green cables? Or the Red White and Yellow?


In either case you'll likely have to buy a Lightning Digital Av Adapter, and then an HDMI to component/composite interface.
