no service indication

Question

Friends,

I bought iphone 5 today, but after inserting Vodafone India NANO sim - the phone still shows ' NO SERVICE ' indication even after 6hrs.

My previous Sim is deactivated.

Is there any setting which I need to check or activate somethings...

kindly help.

What did Vodafone India say when you contacted them?

You can try a reset, hold down the home/sleep button together until you see the apple logo and then release, then wait for the phone to boot back up.
