i've had my phone for a while now, i updated it it iOS 6.1.3 and restored it, but now it doesnt want to update with wifi or itunes. wifi says i need to retry and itunes says we are unable to continue with your activation at this time.

Do you have a SIM card in the phone? A SIM is required to activate the phone.
If you do, it's most likely because the phone was hacked to illegally unlock it from the original carrier.
i bought it but it was jailbrokn, so i took it to a shop to unjailbreak it, but keep unlock it, it seemed to work fine, then i updated it, it does have a sim card, but it doesnt want to activate, do you know how i can solve it?
When Apple's servers detect hacked phones, like yours, activation stops & errors out. Apple maintains a database of officially unlocked iPhones, and if your phone's IMEI number is not in that database, you won't be able to activate it without using a sim card from the carrier the phone was originally locked to.
So, you've got two choices: 1. Get the phone "officially" unlocked, or 2. Get a sim card from the carrier the phone was originally locked to, if you want to activate it.
iphone 3gs wont go past activation screen, with wifi or itunes? help?!
