I am unable to connect my Iphone 5 to My Computer to transfer photos. The iphone works perfectly with itunes but it seems as the computer does not recognize it for else. It does not appear for Scanner and camera wizard. I have tried uninstalling itunes.

I am unable to "find" my iphone 5 to be able to transfer my images to My Computer. My Iphone works well with itunes but I am not able to find the iphone for other usage, neither by the Scanner and camera wizard nor My Computer. I am operation Windoes XP on my laptop.

I have tried the Scanner and camera wizard settings to enable my iphone but the iphone ( or any other devices) is listed there. I am unable to add the iphone to the Scanner and camera wizard as I do not have the drivers. As far as I know the drivers are installed through itunes. I tried uninstalling both itunes and apple mobile device drivers and then installing again but still I can not find my iphone outside itunes.

Can anybody help me?
