iPad 2 and a Digital AV adapter not mirroring all applications.

A couple of weeks ago I purchased a Digital AV Adapter to mirror my iPad 2 onto my TV. This all worked fine, once I swapped HDMI cables around. All my applications mirrored perfectly including the one I definitely wanted which is the AFL live application, in particular the AFL.TV video.

This application was updated a week or so ago and it now it only sends the sudio to the TV and no video. Does anyone know if this is controlled by the application developer (Telstra in this case) or is it an Apple issue?

I recently upgraded to iOS 6.1.3, but the notes did not mention anything about video output.

As this was all working 2 weeks ago, I know I don't need and Apple TV and Air Play solution. I think this is an application issue and was hoping someone knew that this is a deliberate ploy by Telstra.

Video on the NBA site plays fine, Youtube in a browser works fine, movies from iTunes work fine.

The mystery has been solved. The developers have deliberately stopped the application from using the video output so that you can't use a second display.
