Can I upgrade my Ipod touch 4th generation to the new 5th? and How?

I want to upgrade my Ipod touch 4th generation to the new 5th, I am still under the apple one year warrenty. If this possibe? If it is how do I ugrade?

iPod touch, iOS 6.1.3, 4th generation

You will need to sell your existing model and use the proceeds to purchase a newer model.

Apple will only give you a 10% recycling discount if you turn in an old iPod when you purchase a new one. Better off selling it yourself.
