Frustration is all over me! I am unable to get a pairing between my MacBook (10.8.2) and my iPhone (6.1.3). Should I expect problem or what? And if so, why? Both devices have Bluetooth so why does Apple not make them compatible?

You can quit trying to pair your phone & Mac by Bluetooth, as they won't pair unless you're trying to Tether. File transfer, by Bluetooth, has NEVER been supported on any iPhone.
@wjosten; do you know why Apple have made this decision? I mean, nowadays you take a lot of photos with the iPhone and Bluetooth would be a very easy way to transfer them to the computer. II can even pair it with my car so why not my own Mac-computer which I anticipate is much mote sophisticated! Or at least, I assume Apple would like me to believe that.
