My Ipod 7gen. is not turning on at all.

The device was working just fine up until last night. I pressed the top button and the music turned off, so i tried to turn it back on. but it wouldnt. I plugged it in the wall and got no progress. I also plugged it in the Cpu where it should display a connected screen. but nothing would happen. What should i Do?
