Iphone 5 - No Service & WIFI keeps dropping

I recently upgraded from an Iphone 4 to a 5 and since then I am having a nightmare with connectivity. My phone constantly says No Service or doesn’t pick up WIFI in places my old phone worked absolutely fine. I am with the same company, Orange, so it isn’t a change to service provider. I know the phone is at fault as I commute the same way every day etc and never had this issue before.

Any ideas? Orange (bandits!) won’t speak to me as it is outwith the 14 days cooling off period!
