Yeah, it's a microsoft product, but trying to get help from microsoft, in my experience, is NEVER fun, and definitely futile when it's running under Apple OS. I don't mean in any way that thiis forum has any obligation to help me, just my experience tells me that Apple people are far more likely to help than mickeysoft people.

Never mind, I found the answer. Use "Command-delete" instead of simply pressing delete.
