Time on 24 hour clock after midnight

Just got a 17" MacBook Pro today, and noted that when midnight passed (doesn't everyone stay up past midnight after getting a new Mac?) the clock changed day of the week, but unlike my iMac G5, on which the clock changes to 00:00:01 and onward, the MBP's clock changed to 24:00:01 and onward.

Sent a test email to another of my accounts, and, sure enough, Mail shows it sent "Today" at 24:27:52, and received "Today" at 24:30:31.

Do those "unusual" times not cause file sorting problems?

Aha!

My error.

There are two "24" hour settings in "International" Format. One is 00 thru 23, and the other 01 thru 24. In my haste to get the machine set up, I only noticed the 01 thru 24 setting, and assumed that to be the "correct" one, and the one I wanted, but .... , it wasn't ...

Thanks, anyway,
