My facetime keeps quitting unexpectedly.

I start the application, initiate a call, then after around 20 seconds, the application closes and I get the message: FaceTime quit unexpectedlyy. Click Reopen to open the application again. Click Report to see more detailed information and send a report to Apple. The extra details are ridiculously long, but from what I can see, this is the important line -

Apologies for mass of text. Any ideas what this means, and how I would go about sorting it? I tried to uninstall the programme, but apparently it's integral to the OSX.

I'm running a 13" Macbook Pro, with OSX 10.8.3 with 2.5GHz Intel Core i5 and 8GB Ram.
