I have an iPhone 5 with iOS6.1.3 and this function doestn work at all. It is supposed to allow calls from contacts marked as favorites but it doesn't. No calls are allowed when this function is turned on. Can you help me with this?

DND only works when the phone is locked/sleeping.
Try turning DND off and back on.
Are you sure the number that's calling is the one in you save in Favorites, i.e. mobile, office, home, etc?
