Perhaps Apple actually reads what we discuss here!:

Amazing that 10.8.3 has been such a nightmare.

I was commenting on all the "nightmares" many here seems to be having getting Windows installed on Boot Camp particularly the Display Drivers.

I'm happy that Apple is aware of remaining issues and is hot at work on 10.8.4

I'm going to install 10.8.4 on an external drive and play around with it a bit and see if they have addressed some of the BootCamp issues mentioned here.

PLEASE READ BEFORE WASTING TIME ASKING THE OBVIOUS!

I have installed Windows 8 on::

2006 MacBook Core Duo running OSX 10.6.8 and BootCamp 3.3.

2010 15" MisBook Pro 2010 i7 8GB running OSX 10.8.3 and Boot Camp 5.0.2 doing a clean install.

2011 13" Mac Book Pro Late 2011 i7 16GB running OSX 10.8.3 and Boot Camp 5.0.2 doing a Windows 7 Upgrade to Windows 8.

All function perfectly!

Please READ THE SUPPORTED DOCUMENTS before asking the same stuff over and over again!

BTW OSX 10.8.4 Developer beta is still using Boot Camp 5.0.2 so there is no point waiting to install BootCamp NOW!

READ AND LEARN!\

...and to think I accused MacRumors as being for the LCD!

SHOCKED AND DISMAYED.
