Yamaha PDX-31 speaker dock does not work with iPhone 4 / iOS 6.1.3

When I plug my newly bought iPhone 4 to my Yamaha PDX-31 sound dock, I receive a message that the accessory is not compatible with this iPhone. However, there are reviews on the dock working perfectly with iPhone 4. The dock still works perfectly with iPhone 3G.

What can I do?
