My ipod will not booot up, it continues to blink the apple logo, and i dont know what to do. Also i have a second ipod touch 4th generation and it is llocked and needs to be connected to itunes, but wont even be reconized, i no longer have the original

My ipod touch wont boot up it shows the apple logo and then blinks on and off.


My second ipod touch wont connect to itunes/be recononized it is totally locked.. i looked at videos on the internet, and they say connect it to the FIRST computer that it was connected to,, the only thing is i no longer have that computer... so what do i do

For both

Try:

- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on

- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

How to put iPod touch / iPhone into DFU mode « Karthik's scribblings

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.

- Try on another computer

- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.
