Replacing claps with a specific clap clip?

Greetings,

I recorded (live) a clap track. And after some EQ and processing I found that some claps were just not quite the sound i wanted. I am wondering is there a good/efficient way to just find my favorite clap and replace all the others with that?

Hi

Here's two ways that might do it for you:

Use the Marquee tool to copy one of the good claps, then use move to transient to line up with the ones you want to replace.

Or, emply Drum Replacement to create a Software Instrument track, and then substitute the EXS instrument for a 'home made one" using one of your good Claps
