While working on organizing my events in iPhoto'11 (version 9.4.2) quit working. Then after opening up iPhoto some of my event did not have a cover photo and showed that there is zero pictures in that event. When I tried to open that event all the photos are still there but still show zero on a blank cover photo. How do I get my cover photo back and shows the right number of photos in that event?

WHat happened? How were you "organizing" your events?
The easiest solution is to restore you backup form just before the problem occured

I am new to the mac and was organizing the events by renaming the dates to event names. In the middle of doing this Iphoto stoped working and had to restart it. After it strated back up, that is when I seen that there is no cover photo.
I do have a timemachine backup on my macbook but do not know how to restore from it. Will you tell me how to restore it please.

Basically you launch Time Machine and go back to the time you wnat to restore from - select the iPhoto library and click restore
