Are you saying that your first name is "thatsbusiness"? Your username is what appears here, nothing else.

Could you provide more detail on how it isn't working? Is it the appleid website itself not saving the edited changes you make to the name or are you not seeing the name change on the iOS device?
We would first need to sign out of the Apple ID on the iOS device to see the changes after those changes have already been made on My Apple ID website.
To sign out: (Article HT1311)
on the iOS device navigate to Settings>iTunes & App Stores>Double tap where it has Apple ID: yourappleidhere and a blue popup menu should display allowing you the option to sign out of the Apple ID on the iOS device.
You could also test signing into the iTunes store from a PC or Mac with the new name.

Not possible. If you want a different ID just stop using the old one.
To clarify from How to change the name you use for your Apple ID (HE40 as burningthoughts brought up)
You can change your Apple ID "name" unless it ends with @mac.com or @me.com.
So if you have an @me.com or @mac.com Apple ID, then Klaus1 is correct. You can't change it, but will need to create another if you want a different one. > Click on Manage your Apple ID
> Login
> Change your name
It's now possible to change your Apple ID into you primary email adress. Check https://appleid.apple.com/
