transfer itunes movies purchased on imac to ipad/ipod touch

i have just purchased a movie through itunes on my iMac, but, when i go to sync it to my iPad or iPod touch , it gives me this message:

"Movie name" was not copied to iPod/iPad because you are not authorised for it on this computer"

Can anyone help me, i need to put it on these devices today.
