Hi. I just bought new Ipad Mini. I don't have network to connect to. Its my first owning one i don't know how to set it up. Help...

Congratulations on the new iPad Mini...first and important, since you must have a computer to be logged in the Apple Support Communities asking your question, download the iPad and Mini User Guide, that has all the information you will need about your new purchase.

Chapter 2 discusses Setup of the new iPad and Mini.

You need to either have a WiFi network or computer running iTunes to proceed with the setup. What do you have available, and do you have email you want to setup?

When you start the Mini, can you get beyond the screen that wants you to attach to iTunes or a network? If you can get to the home desktop, the screen that just shows the included apps, tap Settings, then highlight General if it is not already in highlighted, then About and at the top will be Name > there you want to give your Mini a name, such as kgomos iPad Mini, or what ever you want to name it 🙂

You can manually enter email account info but that would be a lot better to do with a network connection as the Mini can download the info it needs for preloaded providers such as gmail, or AOL,

If you do not have internet access at home, do you have an iCloud account seetup? I am assuming you have an Apple ID since you are on here asking questions. If so, while it isn't secure, can you go somewhere that you can access a wireless network, such as a coffee shop or a library? You can do al of the setup things much more easily that way.

Do you have the User Guide that should have come with the Mini? That and the PDF file I linked to above will offer a great deal of help.

Instead of typing all of this and making mistakes with my magic fingers 😝, if you can print out the iCloud Account FAQ, after clicking on Expand All...the first item is how to create an iCloud account. Since you must already have an AppleID you are half way there. And the iCloud account is free for the first 5 GB of storage...Mail, Calendars, Contacts, Photo-Stream do not count against that 5 GB...and you can turn on backup to iCloud on the Mini so you don't need to use a computer to backup your content.
