Change Apple ID?

Good day,

No matter what I do, my Apple ID remains on @mac.com

I've deleted it from the alternate email addresses.

I've managed to change the primary email to @icloud.com by doing that.

But the Apple ID still remains.

It wants to keep changing the primary email address as well.

Why does it want to change the email to @mac.com if they don't work anymore?

It bounces!!!

550 5.1.1 unknown or illegal alias: xxxxx@mac.com

I joined the iOS developer program.

Never received a response after paying for it.

I realized that they probably sent to my @mac.com address.

I tested from my Gmail by sending to @mac.com and it bounced.

Why did the @mac.com addresses stopped working?

I've had it for years now.
