Yes. Changing the SIM has no effect on the data stored in the phone.
Changing SIMS does NOT affect what pictures are on the phone.
EVen if the iPhone I want to put the SIM card in is disabled???
SO even if I put a SIM card in it, it will not disable? I have never backed it up before or synced it to a computer, so all the data will be deleted no matter what, as it does not have a SIM card?
If the Device in question is Disabled and is requesting that it be Restored with iTunes, and you have No Backup... then All the Data has already gone.
Yes Disable is a security device hardly viable if all "the thief" has to do is put in a different sim 😕

IT was stolen, and I hadn't backed it up, and today the police found it and returned it to me, but it is disabled, I think they put the password in to many times xx

Only from a Backup... which unfortunately you do not have.

I have two iPhones, one which I have backed up, one which I have not. Both have different SIM cards, if I put a SIM card into the other phone will that phone still have the same pictures, etc on it??
