how can i know a carrier of my iphone MC319ll/a ????
iPhone 4, iOS 6.1.3
Based on the model number, it's a US iPhone. Since it's a GSM iPhone 4, the only carrier it can possibly be locked to is AT&T.

All said that but i try to unlock with at&t and still locked and at&t said that is locked to another carrier plz help me if u can ..... thanx
What does it say when you look at Settings=>General=>About=>Carrier?

There are no other GSM carriers in the US that carry the iPhone.
Call AppleCare and give them the serial number. They can tell you who it's locked to.
If you are not an AT&T customer, they're most likely not going to unlock it for you anyway. Where exactly did you get the phone?
It's possible he has a truly unlocked phone from Apple. I have one, so it is possible. I had same issue when trying to "unlock" it from AT&T - they said it was locked to a diff carrier since it wasn't in their database.
Lo and behold, it was never locked to any carrier since it was a direct replacement from Apple for an old 3GS that I had tons of trouble with. I bought a cheap SIM card on Amazon and popped it in and it works perfect.
That's entirely possible. It's also possible that it was a replacement for a phone that was originally locked to AT&T, in which case, the replacement would be as well. If it wasn't properly registered with AT&T after replacement, they may not show it in their database. Even if it was, it may not show unless they look up the account of the original owner.

I mean you did not purchase it from AT&T or from Apple in the US. Meaning you bought it second hand from an individual or from an unauthorized distributor.

If the phone is carrier locked, the ONLY carrier it can possibly be locked to based on the model number you provided is AT&T. If you are not an AT&T customer, and can not provide proof of purchase for a no-commitment phone from AT&T or through Apple retail in the US, they most likely are NOT going to unlock it.
Why would you purchase a carrier locked phone if you did not intend to use it with the carrier it is locked to?
hhhhhh i live in egypt and when i bought that iphone i did not knoe that and it was working in that time very will but now i were Stuck in that loced and wanna to unlock it to i asked i hope to do that very much .....

KiltedTim advised you call Apple to ascertain which carrier it is locked to, and then you can take it from there.
