Um... iPhone 5 didn't have iOS 5. It came with iOS 6.
Sylvain - does this problem happen with every wifi spot or just yours? Can you be a little more descriptive. Also I'd like to add that iPhone 5 is still covered under warranty so perhaps a visit to Apple store if you have one in Montreal may be a good idea. It could be a bad wifi antenna - that isn't very uncommon.
Thanks. I will monitor the situation as it sporadically happens. Found a way though by "forgetting the network" and reconnecting. Problem solved for now...
