Spotify + other programs crashing.

I have recently experienced problems with some of my applications, especially the music streaming app Spotify and Widevine Media Opimizer, witch i need to stream videos on hbonordic. When I start them up, they imediatly shut down, and the computer tells me that the program inexpectedly has shut down. Is my computer just to old?
