Context menu really slow appearing (when right-clicking)

In the past few days, my computer has been REALLY slow in pulling up context menus when I right click. It seems to be OK after the initial right-click, but this is happening in every application. When I right-clicked on the Desktop, it took about 15 seconds to think before showing the menu. I tried the same thing in various apps, like Safari, Apple Mail, and Transmit, and they were all slow in showing the context menu.

Any ideas on what is causing the slow down?

I found an article on macosxhints.com, that gave these instructions to remove a plugin.

sudo mkdir /System/Library/Contextual\ Menu\ Items\ \(disabled\); \
sudo mv /System/Library/Contextual\ Menu\ Items/FolderActionsMenu.plugin \
/System/Library/Contextual\ Menu\ Items\ \(disabled\); \
sudo killall Finder

The article name is A fix for a very slow contextual menu in the Finder.
