Issue with Testing for Java Compatibility

I have the most recent Java update installed on my iMac. However, when I try to access my work computer from home - it stays on the Testing for Java Compatibility screen and doesn't move forward from there. It worked fine in the past, but for about the last couple weeks I have been having this issue. Please advise. Thanks.
